Whitening

Teeth whitening is an excellent way to refresh and rejuvenate your smile. At Prospect Dental, we offer two types of whitening systems. During your consultation appointment, the dentist will assess and discuss which option is best for you.

Take-home whitening is an effective way of gradually and gently whitening your teeth at home. Custom made trays are fabricated to comfortably fit your teeth, and you are given whitening gel to place in the trays and onto your teeth. The process can take 30-45 minutes of use everyday for 2 weeks. You can keep the trays and purchase top up gels as required. 

Zoom in-chair whitening is a professional grade, high concentration whitening system that is completed in one visit at the clinic. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated with an LED light. It will generally take 4 rounds of 15 minutes to complete. 

Depending on the result desired, you may choose to do one or even both methods. Take-home whitening is $450, or $50 for top up gels alone. Zoom whitening is $750. If doing both methods, we offer a package for $1,000.

Results and longevity vary between individuals. Longevity is dependent on many factors such as oral hygiene practices, coffee/tea consumption, and more. Please note that fillings and crowns/veneers cannot be whitened. If necessary, they may need to be replaced after whitening.
