Single visit crown (CEREC)

At Prospect Dental, we have a CEREC machine that allows us to make same day crowns. We use high quality materials that are durable and long lasting, while also mimicking the natural appearance of a tooth. 

Crowns may be needed for a number of reasons. Most commonly, they are used to build up a tooth that has had significant damage from cracks or decay, or to protect a tooth after root canal treatment. 

The prepared tooth will be 3D scanned, and a crown will be designed and milled using the CEREC machine. It may be put through a furnace depending on the material used. The timing of the procedure depends on the amount of damage the tooth has, and costs vary between health funds.
